1 John 4:7,8,20
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love, does not know God, because God is love."
"If anyone says, "I love God", and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen."
Wow! So these verse are very straight forward. Love is truly sent from God. Many people go through life looking for love. The true answer is, LOVE GOD! HE is the one who died for our sins and he forgives us. We shall not be living in sin, but if we do, we have the opportunity to go straight to him and ask him for forgiveness. HE loves us so much and we should not forget that.
Also we may have problems with people, sometimes we may not get along with others but the most important thing we can do is love them. That is what God would do, he would love them just like he loves us even though we sin. If we say " I hate that person", or " I hate that group of people", then we obviously do not love God. We should love everyone even if we have problems with people, we need to learn how to get passed those problems, and love one another!

1st Day
Hey Guys,
So this is my first blog ever! I wanted to blog about the chapters I am currently reading in the Bible. I am a christian and I go to Compass Bible Church. Today I read a chapter from Jonah 2. It really was so inspiring! I loved this verse:
7 When my life was fainting away,I remembered the Lord, and my prayer came to you, into your holy temple.
Jonah was in a really hard time so he went to the Lord for help. Of course HE is always with us and he saved Jonah. If it weren't for the Lord Jonah would have been dead. I have gone through a similar situation. The Lord saved me when I was going through a hard time. After my grandfather died, I was devastated. When he died, I wanted to die. I went through one of the steps of dealing with loss; Bargaining. I asked & told God that I would do anything to get my grandfather back. I told God that I would be a better student, a better sister, a better daughter, a better friend. . . . etc. When I realized what I was doing, I realized nothing would work. That is when the Lord found me. I was in his word and I finally realized that my grandfather was in a better place. So as Jonah said "When my life was fainting away" I remember when I thought I lost it. Then I remembered the Lord and prayed everyday for him to help me. Of course, he answered my prayers and that is just one story that I have to share with those who are non-believers. HE saved me. HE is the reason I am here today! PRAISE THE LORD!
